What kind of spray caps come with Easy Max, and how do they work?
What kind of spray caps come with Easy Max, and how do they work?
Each Easy Max can includes two precision-engineered nozzles, giving you the flexibility to tackle both detailed and large-scale projects:
- White/Blue Soft Cap – Produces a fine, soft spray for controlled detailing. Ideal for
edges, corners, and touch-ups. - Black/Pink Cap – Delivers a wide spray, perfect for fast application across large surfaces.
The standard Easy Max colours feature a donut-shaped spray pattern due to Cosmos Lac’s triple pigment grinding process and 4x higher pigment load. This results in superior coverage—up to 4m² per coat—and often removes the need for a primer. The spray is smooth, high-opacity, and won’t crack or drip.
Note: The Metallic and Glitter Easy Max range of cans come with a standard nozzle and do not use the donut spray pattern. These are optimised for their specific finishes and still offer excellent coverage and a smooth, even result.

Troubleshooting FAQs
Why is my paint coming out uneven or foaming/spitting?
Why is my paint coming out uneven or foaming/spitting?
This usually happens when the can hasn’t been shaken long enough. Make sure to shake the can vigorously for at least 2–3 minutes before use and intermittently during application. Before spraying onto the surface for the first time be sure to spray into the air for 1-2 seconds to release any built up gas. Also, ensure the nozzle is clean—dried paint can cause blockages or splatter.
My spray paint isn’t sticking to the surface—what went wrong?
My spray paint isn’t sticking to the surface—what went wrong?
Surface prep is key. Always make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease or dust. For glossy or non-porous materials (like plastic or metal), lightly sand the surface and/or apply a compatible primer first for better adhesion.
Why is the finish dull, patchy or not matching the cap colour?
Why is the finish dull, patchy or not matching the cap colour?
Colour results can be impacted by the number of coats, surface type, or if the paint was applied too heavily or too far apart. We recommend applying 1-2 thin coats, allowing each to dry fully. The cap is 95% in closeness to the actual colour, but it is ultimately just an indicator, not an exact match—always test spray first.
How long does the paint take to dry and cure fully?
How long does the paint take to dry and cure fully?
Touch dry: 10–15 minutes
Recoat: After 30 minutes
Fully cured: 24–48 hours, depending on surface and climate. For best results, avoid handling or sealing too soon.
What should I do if the nozzle becomes blocked or stops spraying?
What should I do if the nozzle becomes blocked or stops spraying?
Turn the can upside down and spray for 2 seconds to clear the valve after each use. If clogged, remove the nozzle and soak it in warm water or solvent cleaner, then blow through with compressed air or reattach and spray again.
